That system in the Gulf of Mexico has a bit of rotation according to the radar movements. It's supposed to move inland in Panhandle of Florida around 10pm. Thoughts?

I live in Dawson Springs, KY and the tornado 🌪 hit really bad and my husband's brother and his family were in a trailer and it flipped over several times and two of their daughters were hurt and had to take them to the ER.

I live in South Jersey and drive around this area all of the time. If you look, you can still see the scars in the woods from the tornado

This was an EF-5. I don’t see the reason it was rated EF-4 for such a large and destructive tornado.

I have video from when this tornado dropped south of Annapolis. I was at the Dr. office and and saw the rotation on Radar Scope. I told everyone we were about to get a warning. Phones went off and everyone freaked out. I went to the window and recorded. Just leaves and small branches flying at that point but it dropped right on top of us. Building management came running in a few minutes after it was gone and started yelling at everyone to get down. I told them it was already passed us and showed them the velocity scan with the rotation. She yelled at me and told me to get down. I laughed and told her to settle down.

My husband and I just moved to Bowling Green after being in what we thought was an active tornado area in Minnesota. We grew up with them and knew the risks and seriously considered it when we moved. December 9 we had an embryo transfer for IVF and we were supposed to remain relaxed with no stressors for the following week, then the skies turned green and we experienced the most horrific storm we didn’t think was possible. Luckily we have our little girl here with us today. A blessing that survived the storm.

Bathtubs made out of fiberglass are useless. They used to be made out of cast iron. When they were made from cast iron they were helpful against flying debris. People need safe rooms and underground shelters

I was driving from Wisconsin to Florida and went through this area the day after it hit. I hadn’t heard about it and was shocked at what I saw on I24. Trees snapped off like toothpicks, Truck tires all over the place. The side panel of a semi rolled up like ribbon. Then I stopped for gas and it was far worse. The town of Mayfield was flattened. It makes me wonder how many truckers and cars drivers lose their lives in these storms.

Nothing to do with seed clouding, i just hope everyone stays safe.

This tornado is just another in a long list of why the pathetic EF rating system needs to be abolished. This tornado was most definitely an EF-5, but once again, the NWS idiots didn’t rate it as such. Both them and that system have become a joke. Remember also that the NWS didn’t even bother issuing the “tornado emergency” for this storm until AFTER it had leveled Mayfield.

I love those older alert noises you had. Dramatic but effective. The little beeps the tornado warnings make is literally one of my favorite sound effects.

It was 100% a EF-5 tornado.

My partner's roommates saw the tornado from their street, but didn't take any precautions. A lot of people in New Jersey hear that there's a tornado warning for their area but don't seek shelter because they don't think it's real. Terrifying.

I believe I found this Chanel right after this storm. I'm so glad I didn't watch it at the time because he said it's headed for louisville which I am not far from. I would have been hysterical.

After watching this a year later, this storm was very different they were saying 4 inches north of buffalo but we got 14-15 inches the band shifted north without us knowing. With me being a first responder we out there for 15+ hours trying to rescue people from there car. This storm was no joke

That fact that this got so many people even when they had a long peroid of PDS warning shows the danger of upper level tornadoes.

This night still haunts me and I wasn't even involved in the storm. Some of my family lived in Bremen at the time and by the grace of God were spared. The lives of their neighbors were not. Homes flattened and destroyed. Camper flung like a small toy. Brick and stone tossed around like Legos. Cattle farms decimated along with livestock. Entire woods ripped from the ground. The footage my mom has from going there to help the next day is hell on earth.

Ryan is my favorite weathercaster. It’s not just that he tells us what the weather is going to be. I get the feeling he has a personal relationship with Weather dynamics. It’s not just that it’s gonna be windy and raining today. It’s all the interlocking factors that caused it to be windy and raining that he sees and clearly explains to us.

I'm here watching this looking at the forecase and not seeing ANY of this happening... then I realized this was from 4 days ago.
